"a fly line runs through it" - pretty clever huh? ok, clever enough. I'm a fly fisherman and a fly tyer. I thought it would be nice to have a place to talk about that - to share that with those who may be interested. so here it is - the angler's quarter. fishing stories, fly patterns, photos, and links to other sites are among what you'll find here - have fun!

The LeTort Cricket, invented by Ed Shenk of Carlisle, PA, is one of my favorite flies. It's a great all round fly for trout - or if you're into sunfish, bluegill, etc. they won't stay away from them. I'm going to put a photo and the pattern in the next day or so for the tiers out there. I'm up waaay too late right now - gotta a headache - need to go to bed. LeTort Cricket coming soon!
