"a fly line runs through it" - pretty clever huh? ok, clever enough. I'm a fly fisherman and a fly tyer. I thought it would be nice to have a place to talk about that - to share that with those who may be interested. so here it is - the angler's quarter. fishing stories, fly patterns, photos, and links to other sites are among what you'll find here - have fun!

OK, got up early this morning - got the boy up, and we drove to Richmond to fish Silver Creek. We go there around 8:00am. As we came around the last corner we saw the raging torrent of a stream - yellow mud! Damnit! I didn't expect it to be that high. Oh, well. We got out anyway and let Conor cast a few times under the falls just because we were there - no luck. Then we skipped rocks for a while and came home. Next time....
