"a fly line runs through it" - pretty clever huh? ok, clever enough. I'm a fly fisherman and a fly tyer. I thought it would be nice to have a place to talk about that - to share that with those who may be interested. so here it is - the angler's quarter. fishing stories, fly patterns, photos, and links to other sites are among what you'll find here - have fun!

The boy and I went fishing yesterday - another attempt. It IS Spring - it's required that at least we try. Went down to Silver Creek (no I don't live in Idaho - not THAT one) to try for some Smallmouth Bass. I'm sure the Bass are still in there somewhere. None of them decided to make an appearance for us though. We had fun trying though. The water was just a little too high from the previous day's rain - you see that over there. In a few days it'll be perfect - you know, that fishy green color. There's the Con man after a day of being skunked. He's alright. We'll try try again next time. Like I said, it's Spring. It's supposed to rain.
