"a fly line runs through it" - pretty clever huh? ok, clever enough. I'm a fly fisherman and a fly tyer. I thought it would be nice to have a place to talk about that - to share that with those who may be interested. so here it is - the angler's quarter. fishing stories, fly patterns, photos, and links to other sites are among what you'll find here - have fun!

I'm pretty sure I'm going here on the weekend of December 13th for a camping/fly fishing trip with my good friend Kevin. Kevin is not presently a fly fisherman. He will be though. This will be his break-in trip. I doubt many people will be on stream on a weekend in mid-December, so hopefully some of those hold-over Rainbows and maybe Browns too, will be hungry for flies. We shall see.

I've never really fished in the snow before. I am praying that snow will fall as we camp and fish. You know, not like a blizzard but a couple of inches. I want to stand in that beautiful landscape, snow falling around me, and pull a few Trout out of the cold waters. Report to follow...
